A fish is placed on the end of a foot launch pad on the ground. You position your foot on the other end of the pad and stomp down. The stomp sends the fish flying through the air toward a target hole — your goal is to launch the fish cleanly through the hole. Where you place your foot on the pad determines the fish's trajectory. Stomp in the right spot and the fish arcs through the hole. Stomp off-center or with too much force and it misses. The challenge is finding and repeating that precise stomp position.

How is Penguin Fling different from the Flying Froggy game?

Both are precision launcher games where a character must pass through a target hole, but the launch mechanic is completely different. The Flying Froggy game uses a rubber mallet — you hold the mallet in your hand and strike a pad, controlling the frog's trajectory through where your hand strikes. Penguin Fling uses your foot — you stomp a ground-level launch pad, controlling the fish's trajectory through where your foot lands. One game is all hand precision, the other is all foot precision.
