Set Up the Board

Each player takes one color — red or black. Place all pieces on the dark squares of the three rows closest to your side of the board. Red always moves first. In subsequent games, players alternate who goes first.

Move and Jump

On your turn, move one piece diagonally forward one square onto a vacant dark square. If an opponent's piece is diagonally adjacent with an empty square behind it, you must jump over it and remove it from the board. You have 5 minutes per turn.

Get Kinged

When your piece reaches the back row on your opponent's side, it becomes a King. Kings move one square diagonally in both directions — forward and backward — and can jump in both directions too. Getting a King changes the entire board dynamic.

Win by Blocking or Capturing

The player who captures all of the opponent's pieces — or leaves them with no legal moves — wins the game. Reset the board and play again. You have 8 full hours to run as many games as your guests want.
