Build the Tower

Stack 51 oversized wooden blocks into a tower 17 levels high — three blocks per level, each level rotated 90 degrees from the one below. The player who builds the tower takes the first turn.

Pull a Block — One Hand Only

On your turn, use one hand to remove any block from any level below the incomplete top row. You may tap blocks to find a loose one. You cannot steady the tower with your free hand. You have 10 seconds once you touch the tower.

Stack It on Top

Place the removed block on the highest incomplete level of the tower. This makes the tower taller and progressively more unstable. Your turn ends 10 seconds after placement or when the next player touches the tower.

Last One Standing Wins

The game ends when the tower falls. The player whose turn caused the collapse loses. Stack the blocks and start again — you have 8 full hours and the world record is 40 levels high. See if your group can beat it.

Space and Surface Requirements

The Giant Jenga tower has a small footprint at its base — roughly 2 feet by 2 feet — but you need a clear circle of about 6 feet around it to account for falling blocks and players stepping in to take turns. Works on any flat surface: grass, concrete, asphalt, gymnasium flooring, banquet hall carpet, or hardwood floors. It does not need staking, anchoring, or any surface preparation.
