1,400 Square Feet — Maximum Depth in the Open 20-Wide Lineup

The 20x70 is the largest open tent in the 20-foot-wide lineup we carry. At 70 feet of depth, it is the open tent for customers who have outgrown the 20x60 and are not ready for a 40-wide configuration. Seventeen rectangle tables seat 140 at maximum. Fourteen round tables seat 112 at 8 per table. No other single 20-wide open tent in this lineup gives you more covered square footage.

Four Zones — Food, Dining, Bar, Stage

The 20x60 runs three zones well. The 20x70 runs four. Buffet station along the back 12 feet. Dining section through the next 25 feet. Bar and cocktail area through the following 15 feet. DJ setup, stage, or entertainment end at the front 18 feet. At 70 feet of depth, each zone has enough linear space that none of them bleeds into the adjacent one.

Open Format — Maximum Airflow at Maximum Scale

No sidewalls version is available for the 20x70. This is the tent for customers who want maximum open square footage — all four sides open, full cross-ventilation, guests moving freely without sidewall panels defining entry points. At 200-plus guests at cocktail scale, the open format handles traffic flow that a sidewalled tent cannot match and keeps the tent connected to the surrounding event.

$1,000 — More Space Than the Enclosed 20x60 at a Lower Price

The enclosed 20x60 costs $1,135. The open 20x70 costs $1,000. The 20x70 has 200 more square feet than the enclosed version — at $135 less — because enclosure adds significant material and installation cost that an open tent does not require. Customers choosing between these two are choosing between weather protection and scale. If the event does not need weather sealing, the 20x70 gives more space for less money.

1,400 Pole-Free Square Feet

Frame tent construction keeps all load at the perimeter — the interior from one short end to the other is completely unobstructed. At 70 feet of depth, center poles would divide the tent into sections and force table rows to route around structural elements. A service corridor runs the full 70-foot length without interruption. Table rows run cleanly from end to end at whatever length the layout requires.

Aztec Quality at the Largest Open Scale

At 70 feet of joined Aztec commercial framing, the construction quality matters more than at any smaller tent in this lineup. Our 20x70 is manufactured by Aztec Tents and rated at 60+ mph winds when properly anchored. Our crew installs it correctly. At 1,400 square feet and 140 guests, that distinction between Aztec commercial construction and a large pop-up frame is consequential — not cosmetic.

8ft Rectangle Tables — Up to 140 Guests

Seventeen to eighteen 8ft rectangle tables seat up to 140 guests at full banquet capacity. Best for large graduation parties, company award dinners, and large family reunions where maximum coverage is the goal. Reserve 10 to 12 feet at one end for food and drink — that leaves 120 to 130 guests at dining tables with service fully separated from seating.

60" Round Tables — 112 to 140 Guests

Fourteen round tables seat 112 guests at 8 per table or 140 at 10 per table. At 8 per table, generous spacing between tables lets servers work comfortably and guests leave their seats without stepping around neighbors. The formal dining layout for wedding receptions, fundraiser dinners, and church banquets where the atmosphere matters as much as the headcount.

Four-Zone Layout — 90 to 110 Seated

Buffet station — 12 feet. Dining tables — 25 feet, seating 72 to 100. Bar and cocktail — 15 feet. Stage or DJ — 18 feet. All four zones at full scale without any zone crowding the next. The layout the 20x60 approaches but cannot fully achieve — at 70 feet all four zones have room to operate independently.

Wedding Reception Layout — 120 to 140 Guests

Head table at the back. Twelve to thirteen round tables through the main body at 8 per table (96 to 104 comfortably seated). Bar and cocktail tables at the entrance end. Dance floor by removing two tables — 150 to 180 sq ft open for dancing without displacing any seated guests. Globe lights ($45) above, garden chairs throughout, multi-peak overhead creating the outdoor venue look.

Standing / Cocktail — 200 to 250 Guests

Remove seated tables and 1,400 open square feet handles 200 to 250 guests at cocktail scale with high-top tables throughout. The open 20x70 at this capacity functions as a small festival tent — a primary covered space large enough that most guests are under the roof at any point during the event without it ever feeling crowded.

Theater or Ceremony Style — Up to 230 Guests

Rows of chairs without tables facing a stage or ceremony end seat up to 230 guests. The 70-foot depth creates sightlines from all rows. A 15-foot stage area at the far end has real visual separation from the audience. Used for outdoor graduation ceremonies, large outdoor church services, and community speaker or award events at this scale.

Space Required — Call Before Booking

The tent footprint is 20x70 feet. The full setup area with staking clearance is 25x75 feet — 1,875 square feet of clear, flat, overhead-obstruction-free ground. At 75 feet of required length, residential lots are ruled out. Church pads, school grounds, corporate outdoor areas, large estate properties, and park fields are the typical sites. Grass Setup — 811 Call at Least 5 Days Before

Call 811 at least 5 business days before installation. All underground utilities must be marked — water, gas, electrical, fiber optic, and public lines — before our crew begins. Mark your private lines (irrigation, septic laterals) yourself. At 70 feet of staking length the 20x70 has more anchor points than any tent built before it in this series. All stakes go 36 inches into the ground.

Concrete Setup — Extra Charge, Plan Ahead

Concrete installations use water barrel or drill anchors — additional charge. Water barrels require a water source within 100 feet of the full 70-foot footprint. We provide anchors and drill. Confirm your surface and pricing with our office when booking. A 20x70 concrete setup requires equipment loaded in advance — not a day-of decision.

Permits — Assume Required at 1,400 Square Feet

At 1,400 square feet every Texas tent permit threshold has been crossed. Many municipalities also require fire marshal review, occupancy inspections, or additional permits for food service or amplified sound at this capacity. Start the permit process before finalizing your date — processing at this scale takes time. We do not obtain permits. All costs, applications, inspections, and timelines are entirely the customer's responsibility.

Large Graduation Open Houses — 150 to 250 Guests

Graduation open houses with 150 to 250 guests cycling through are the natural fit for the 20x70 at cocktail scale. Two large Portacool fans at opposite open ends manage summer heat. The open format keeps guests flowing naturally through the 70-foot space without bottlenecks, and the four-side openness means guests outside the tent stay visually connected to the event.

Outdoor Wedding Receptions — 120 to 140 Guests

Wedding receptions for 120 to 140 guests use the 20x70 when the guest count has outgrown the 20x60 and the event is planned for a season where weather is not the primary concern.
