Description
Rent the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course in DFW Texas
At 114 feet long, the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course is the longest football-themed inflatable obstacle course in the Inflatable Party Magic fleet — and it earns every foot. Two competitors race side-by-side through tackle dummies, tire runs, crawl-throughs, squeeze tubes, jumps, and two climbing walls before scoring a field goal and launching down the 17-foot slide finish. It's not just a long run — it's a gauntlet with a football soul. Browse the complete obstacle course rentals in DFW to see everything we carry, but if your event is football-themed or your crowd demands the longest, most physically demanding dual-lane course we own, this is the one.
Every obstacle in this course is pulled straight from football culture — tackle dummies that actually fight back, tire races that demand footwork and focus, climbing walls that separate the strong from the winded, and a field goal kick to finish. The football graphics wrap the entire length of the unit, making it a visual centerpiece at tailgate parties, football-themed birthday events, and school fall festivals. Two racers go simultaneously in parallel lanes, so the line moves and the competition never stops. We deliver and professionally set up the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course across Arlington obstacle course rentals, Crowley obstacle course rentals, and Waxahachie obstacle course rentals — and 50+ cities across the DFW metroplex.
The course arrives in four connected pieces and requires four separate 110v outlets on four individual 12-amp circuits. Two adult supervisors are required — one at the entry end and one at the slide finish — to manage the dual-lane format safely across a full event day. Every section is state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, built from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and sanitized between every rental. Our safety standards are not a checklist — they're the baseline we've operated from since 2002.
Football Training Camp Obstacle Course — Specs and Rental Details
Why the Football Training Camp Is Our Most Demanding Obstacle Course Rental
114 Feet of Football-Themed Punishment
Most obstacle courses run out of obstacles long before they run out of length. At 114 feet, this one keeps the pressure on the entire way — tackle dummies, tire runs, squeeze tubes, crawl-throughs, and two separate climbing walls before a field goal finish and 17-foot slide. No filler sections.
Every Obstacle Has a Football Identity
This isn't a generic obstacle course with football graphics stapled on. Tackle dummies are positioned exactly like a defensive line. The tire run demands the same footwork drills players do at training camp. The field goal kick before the final slide is a detail that makes football fans stop and grin.
Side-by-Side Lanes Keep the Stakes Real
Two competitors race in parallel lanes the entire 114 feet. You can see exactly where your opponent is at every obstacle. Falling behind after the tire run means you have two climbing walls to make up the difference — and everyone watching knows it.
The Longer You Race, the Better You Get — Until You Don't
First run through the course is always slower than the second. Third run is usually faster than the second. By the fifth or sixth run, you've found every shortcut and your legs are gone. That arc — improvement to exhaustion — is what keeps competitors lining up all day instead of once and done.
Ages 7 to Adult — Built for the Older Crowd
The Football Training Camp starts at age 7 — not because younger kids couldn't enjoy it, but because the climbing walls and squeeze tubes demand the size and coordination to complete them without frustration. This is a course built for older kids, teenagers, and adults who want a real physical challenge.
Four-Piece Setup — Professionally Assembled at Your Location
The course ships in four sections, assembled and connected by our crew at your site. We stake it on grass or sandbag it on hard surfaces, test every blower, and confirm both lanes are race-ready before we leave. Pickup happens after your event — you don't touch a strap.
How the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course Works
1
Hit the Line
Both competitors start side-by-side and launch into tackle dummies and crawl-throughs. The opening section is designed to slow you down and separate competitors within the first 20 feet.
2
Work Through the Middle
Tire runs, jumps, and squeeze tubes through the mid-section require footwork, agility, and the ability to keep moving when your instinct says slow down. This is where most races are decided before the climbing walls.
3
Scale Two Climbing Walls
Two separate rock climbing walls near the finish end of the course. If you've saved anything in reserve, here's where you use it. If you burned everything in the tire run, the walls will let your opponent know.
4
Score the Field Goal and Slide to Win
The course ends with a field goal kick — the one football-specific moment every guest remembers — then the 17-foot slide down. First one to the bottom wins. Then get back in line and do it again.

Setup Requirements and How to Book the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course
Space and Access Requirements
The Football Training Camp needs 116 feet of length and 14 feet of width on flat, level ground — clear of trees, power lines, fences, and overhead obstructions. This is a large footprint. Measure your space before booking. A clear access path for our crew to transport and connect all four sections is required. Grass is ideal. Hard surfaces work with sandbag anchoring.
Electrical Requirements — Four Separate Circuits
Four separate 110v outlets on four separate 12-amp breaker circuits, each within 100 feet of the setup location. Each of the four blower motors requires a dedicated circuit — you cannot share a breaker between blowers. If your venue has limited panel capacity, call (817) 800-8618 before booking. Generator options are available for outdoor sites without adequate breaker access.
How to Book Online
Click "Add to Cart" on the product page, enter your event date and delivery address, and pay a deposit to secure your date. You will receive an automatic confirmation email. Our crew handles delivery, all four-section assembly, and pickup after your event. Questions before booking? Call (817) 800-8618 — we'll tell you straight whether this course fits your space and your crowd.
Supervision and Safety
Two adult supervisors are required — one stationed at the entry end to manage competitors entering the course, and one at the slide finish to assist racers exiting. At 114 feet, a single supervisor cannot safely monitor both ends. Every section is annually inspected by the Texas Department of Insurance and anchored on setup. Read our full safety standards before your event.
Best Events for the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course
Football-Themed Birthday Parties
The football theme runs deeper than a logo — tackle dummies, training drills, field goal finishes, and football graphics from end to end. Football-fan birthday guests will pick up on every detail and keep racing to beat their personal best through a course that actually looks like the sport they love.
Tailgate Parties
The Football Training Camp was designed with tailgate culture in mind. See the full lineup of football-themed party rentals to pair this course with a quarterback toss or football toss game for a full pre-game or watch-party setup that actually competes with the action on the TV.
School Field Days and Fall Festivals
At 114 feet with parallel lanes, the course turns over fast enough for large groups. A school with 300 kids can run a full bracket tournament across the day. We handle vendor approval for schools and carry all required COI documentation for district and campus events.
Corporate Team-Building Events
114 feet of obstacle course is a team-building exercise that doesn't require a facilitator. Companies book this for corporate event entertainment because employees who race each other side-by-side for 114 feet have a story to tell at Monday's meeting — and it's always the same story where they almost won.
Graduation Parties
High school and college graduation parties from May through June. Graduates and their friends — ages 7 to adult — can all run this course. The field goal finish makes for a photo op that goes on every phone at the party. Pairs well with a water slide for a full outdoor graduation day.
Youth Sports Team Events
Football, baseball, basketball, and soccer teams all end their season with a party. The Football Training Camp gives athletes a competitive outlet that mirrors the drills they know — then gives their parents a reason to race them. End-of-season parties do not need to be boring.
College Events and Greek Life
Campus organizations and Greek chapters rent this course for college event entertainment that produces bracket competition all day. Run it as a Greek Olympics event, an intramural challenge, or a fall kickoff with lane brackets and a bracket board.
Church Festivals and Community Events
The dual-lane parallel format processes crowds efficiently — two racers go at once, the course turns over every few minutes, and 500 attendees can cycle through across a full event day. Football-themed church fall festivals and community fairs run this all day without the crowd losing interest.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course
What makes this different from the Rat Race obstacle course?
The Football Training Camp runs 114 feet in parallel side-by-side lanes — both racers travel the same direction at the same time and see each other the whole way. The Rat Race obstacle course uses a figure-eight layout where competitors enter from opposite ends and cross paths at the center. The Training Camp is longer, football-themed, and better suited for events where the sport itself is the focus. The Rat Race is shorter, non-themed, and produces a different kind of showdown at the crossing point. Both are competitive — just differently structured.
Does the course actually have a field goal kick before the slide?
Yes. After the final climbing wall, competitors reach a field goal section built into the course before they take the 17-foot slide to the finish. It's one of those details that makes football fans stop mid-race, grin, and then immediately regret the half-second they lost. It's also consistently the most photographed moment on the entire course at events.
Why does this course require two supervisors instead of one?
At 114 feet long, a single adult cannot safely monitor both the entry end and the slide finish simultaneously. One supervisor belongs at the start — managing how competitors enter and ensuring one pair finishes before the next pair begins. One supervisor belongs at the slide base — helping racers exit and watching the final section. Both positions are active across the full rental period. This is not optional — it is how the course runs safely.
What ages can run the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course?
Ages 7 to adult. The climbing walls, squeeze tubes, and 114-foot length require the size, coordination, and endurance to complete the course safely. Kids under 7 should not attempt this course. For events with younger children, pairing this with a toddler-appropriate bounce house gives every age group their own entertainment. Check our event day guide for supervision and age-management tips.
How much space does the Football Training Camp Obstacle Course need?
The setup area is 116 feet long by 14 feet wide by 17 feet tall. Measure your space before booking — 116 feet is roughly a third of a standard football field. The area must be flat, clear of overhead obstructions (trees, power lines, structures), and accessible for our crew to carry and connect four sections. Tight or oddly shaped spaces should be confirmed by phone before booking.
