The unit is 33 feet long and 12 feet tall — power lines, tree branches, and structural overhangs all need to be clear of the setup zone. This is a significantly longer footprint than most standard backyard combos. Before booking, measure your available space and confirm you have 40 feet of clear, flat ground. Our delivery crew also needs a clear access path from your gate to the setup location wide enough to carry the unit through.

Electrical Requirements — Two 20-Amp Circuits Required

The Hurricane requires TWO separate 110v outlets, each on its own 20-amp circuit, both within 100 feet of the setup area. Each blower motor needs a dedicated circuit — sharing both on one breaker will trip the breaker and deflate the unit. Typical 20-amp circuits are in kitchens, garages, and laundry rooms. If your backyard has only one exterior outlet, you will need to run two heavy-duty extension cords from two separate 20-amp indoor sources on different breakers. Surface, Access, and Tarps

Grass is the preferred surface — anchor stakes hold the unit secure for the full event. We can also set up on concrete or asphalt with sandbags. Inflatable Party Magic provides tarps that are placed at both the entry and exit points of the Hurricane to minimize mud tracking from kids stepping in and out throughout the day. If you are renting wet (April through mid-September), you must provide your own standard garden hose long enough to reach from your water spigot to the setup location — do not use expandable grow hoses.
