Description
A 51-Foot Racetrack, Four Pedal Cars, and Up to Three Racers Going at the Same Time
The Indy Track Pedal Car Race is the only attraction in our fleet where guests physically climb into a vehicle and race each other around a closed inflatable circuit — and it is one of the most crowd-stopping rentals we carry in all of DFW Texas. The inflatable racetrack is 51 feet long, 26 feet wide, and only 8 feet tall, which means it fits indoors in school gyms and event halls just as well as it works outside on a parking lot or concrete pad. Four pedal cars come with the track — two adult-sized cars built for ages 7 and up with a 350-pound weight capacity, and two kid-sized karts built for ages 3 to 8 with a 100-pound limit. Up to three racers compete simultaneously on the circuit. You can browse our full lineup of extreme attraction rentals in DFW Texas for other one-of-a-kind event experiences.
There is one non-negotiable for this attraction: it must be placed on concrete, asphalt, or another hard surface. The pedal cars cannot operate correctly on grass — the wheels do not grip and riders cannot generate speed. This means driveways, parking lots, school blacktop areas, basketball courts, indoor gymnasium floors, and event hall concrete all work perfectly. A grass backyard does not. If you have a concrete side yard, driveway, or access to a parking area, this attraction works. If your only available surface is grass, call us before booking and we will help you find a solution. We deliver and set up across Aledo, Joshua, Midlothian, and 50+ cities throughout the metroplex.
What makes the Indy Track the attraction that draws the biggest crowd at every event is the spectator angle. The inflatable barriers mean spectators line the outside of the track watching live races from three feet away. They can see every bump, every pass attempt, every last-second surge to the finish. That proximity turns observers into a cheering crowd, and a cheering crowd draws more racers. Events that book this attraction consistently report it as the station guests spend the most time at — not because the individual turns are long, but because nobody wants to leave the track once they see it in action.

Why the Indy Track Pedal Car Race Is the Attraction Nobody Forgets
Guests Actually Drive — Not Just Bounce or Slide
Most inflatable attractions are passive — you climb in, slide or bounce, and exit. The Indy Track puts guests in the driver's seat of a real pedal car on a real closed circuit. They control speed, navigate the track, and race against other drivers. That active control element is what makes this attraction feel fundamentally different from everything else at your event.
Separate Cars for Kids and Adults — Everyone Races
Two adult pedal cars accommodate ages 7 and up with a 350-pound weight limit — built to handle full-grown adults going hard around the circuit. Two kid-sized karts serve ages 3 to 8 at a 100-pound limit. You can run mixed-age heats or designate separate race sessions by age group. Every age at the event gets a car that fits them.
The Crowd Never Leaves the Track
The inflatable barrier walls put spectators three feet from the action. They watch every lap, every pass attempt, every finish line sprint from track-side. That proximity creates a live race atmosphere — cheering, trash-talking, and bracket predictions — that keeps the crowd engaged even when it is not their turn to race.
8 Feet Tall — Works Indoors Year-Round
At only 8 feet tall, this racetrack fits comfortably inside school gymnasiums, recreation centers, church fellowship halls, and convention spaces. It is one of the few large-footprint attractions in our fleet that is fully indoor-capable — which means you can run pedal car races in December just as easily as in July, no weather concerns required.
Run Organized Tournaments or Open Free-Ride Sessions
Corporate events love bracket-style race tournaments — seed the racers, post times, crown a champion. School field days run open sessions where students cycle through continuously. Birthday parties set up head-to-head elimination rounds. The format is flexible because the track accommodates whatever structure your event needs.
State-Inspected, Fully Insured, Cleaned Between Rentals
The inflatable racetrack is inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, backed by full liability insurance, and sanitized — including all four pedal cars — between every single rental. The cars are checked mechanically before each delivery to confirm pedals, steering, and brakes are all in working order.
How the Indy Track Pedal Car Race Works
1
Choose Your Car
Up to three racers choose their pedal car and take their starting positions on the circuit. Your adult supervisor assigns cars by age and size — adults and older kids into the full-size cars, younger children into the kid karts. Racers buckle in and get positioned on the starting line.
2
Lights Out — Race
When the supervisor gives the start signal, racers start pedaling. The enclosed 51-foot circuit keeps everyone on track and spectators safely outside the barriers. Passing is possible — this is a real race, not a single-file parade. Pedal hard, navigate the corners, and push for the lead.
3
Cross the Finish Line
Races run for a set number of laps or a timed session — your supervisor determines the format. First car across the finish line wins the heat. The crowd watching from track-side knows exactly who crossed first. Results are immediate, clear, and loudly celebrated.
4
Rotate and Race Again
Racers exit, next group climbs in, and the next heat starts. Races reset in about two minutes. With 8 full hours of rental time, you can run dozens of heats — enough for organized elimination brackets, or open racing all day where everyone gets multiple turns on the track.

The Indy Track inflatable racetrack — 51 feet long, enclosed circuit, four pedal cars, up to three racers competing simultaneously
The Pedal Cars — What You Get
Adult Pedal Car — 2 Included
Built for ages 7 to adult. Supports riders up to 350 pounds. Full-size frame, adjustable seat position, functional pedal and steering system. This car handles real competitive racing between teens and adults.
Adult Pedal Car — Alternate Style
The second adult car matches capacity and age range — ages 7 and up, 350-pound limit. Both adult cars compete head-to-head or alongside one kid kart in mixed-age heats.
Kid Pedal Kart — 2 Included
Sized for ages 3 to 8 with a 100-pound weight limit. Shorter frame, lower pedal position, easier steering for younger drivers. Kids race kids — no mismatched sizes in the same heat.
All four cars are checked for mechanical function before every delivery. Pedals, steering, and brakes confirmed operational before the crew leaves your event.
Setup Requirements — Read Before You Book
Surface Requirement — This Is Non-Negotiable
The Indy Track with Pedal Cars must be placed on concrete, asphalt, or a hard sealed surface. Grass does not work — the pedal car wheels cannot grip and riders cannot generate speed on soft ground. Driveways, parking lots, school blacktop, basketball courts, and indoor gymnasium or event hall floors all work correctly. If your setup location is grass only, call us at (817) 800-8618 before booking so we can talk through options.
Space and Electrical Requirements
The setup footprint is 53 feet by 28 feet. The inflatable stands only 8 feet tall, giving it clearance in nearly every indoor venue. You need three separate 110v outlets on three different 12-amp circuits within 100 feet of the setup location — three blower motors keep the full circuit inflated. If your venue has limited power access, ask about our generator rental options.
How to Book
Click "Add to Cart," select your event date and delivery address, then pay a $50 deposit. Your deposit applies toward the total rental price — it is not charged on top of it. You will receive an automatic email confirmation. Our crew handles full delivery, track inflation, car placement, and post-event pickup. Prefer to talk it through first? Call (817) 800-8618.
Supervision and Safety
One adult supervisor monitors all racing from outside the track. The supervisor controls heat starts, manages the line rotation, assigns cars by size, and watches for any contact between cars during races. The inflatable barriers contain all action inside the circuit — spectators remain safely outside at all times. Read our safety standards for full inspection and insurance details.
Best Events for the Indy Track Pedal Car Race in DFW
Corporate Team-Building and Company Picnics
Nothing structures a corporate event like a race bracket. Set up eliminations, seed departments against each other, crown an office champion. Adults take this far more seriously than they expect to, and the spectator crowd that gathers track-side creates the kind of shared energy that you cannot manufacture with a ropes course. See our corporate event rentals for complete package options.
School Field Days and Carnivals
The kid pedal karts make this a legitimate option for elementary school field days, not just middle or high school events. Kid heats, adult heats, and teacher-vs-student races are all possible on the same track with the same cars. We handle all vendor approval documentation for schools including COI and insurance verification.
Church Events and Festivals
The Indy Track is one of the few attractions that legitimately entertains all three generations at a church family event — toddlers in kid karts, teens racing adults, and grandparents cheering from track-side. The 8-foot height also fits inside most church fellowship halls with standard ceilings for indoor winter events. Browse our church event rental ideas for what pairs well alongside the racetrack.
Birthday Parties for Racing Fans
A race-themed birthday party with an actual operational racetrack is a category entirely above a race-themed bounce house. Kids whose birthday lands on a driveway or parking lot — or parents who can reserve a gym — get a party centerpiece that none of their friends have seen before. The combination of adult and kid cars means siblings of different ages all get a race.
Community Festivals and HOA Events
The 51-foot inflatable racetrack is a visual centerpiece visible from across any festival grounds. Parking lot festivals, street fairs, and HOA block parties on concrete driveways and roads are natural fits. The spectator appeal keeps foot traffic around the track for the duration of the event, which concentrates your crowd in the most visible area.
College Events and Greek Life
Campus organizations book the Indy Track for college event entertainment that produces genuine competition and social content. Organized bracket races between fraternity chapters, sorority houses, or campus organizations run cleanly on this track — the bracket format and defined winner make outcomes shareable and memorable.
Customer Appreciation Days and Grand Openings
Businesses with parking lots use the Indy Track for grand opening celebrations and customer appreciation events where a draw activity on hard surface is needed. A race track in your parking lot draws traffic from the street, creates dwell time, and gives every customer who participates a specific memory attached to your brand.
Indoor Winter Events and Holiday Parties
At only 8 feet tall, this is one of the few attraction-scale inflatables that reliably fits indoors. Church fellowship halls, school gymnasiums, and event centers with standard ceiling heights can accommodate the full track on a hard floor surface. Book it for December holiday parties when outdoor options are limited by weather.
Our Party-First Cancellation and Weather Philosophy
Weather Happens
If weather forces a cancellation, your deposit rolls to a rescheduled date with no fees or penalties. We do not keep your money when the sky does not cooperate.
Empathy Over Logistics
Chanda runs this company as a parent and neighbor, not a corporate rental manager. When something comes up on either side, we work toward a solution before we look at the policy document.
The Magic Standard
Every delivery gets treated like it is for our own family's event. That standard has built over 1,200 five-star Google reviews from DFW families, schools, churches, and businesses since 2002.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Indy Track Pedal Car Race
Can the Indy Track be set up on grass?
No — grass does not work for this attraction. The pedal car wheels require a hard, smooth surface to generate traction and speed. On grass, riders cannot pedal effectively and the cars will not move as intended. The track must be placed on concrete, asphalt, packed blacktop, or a hard indoor floor. If your only available outdoor space is a grass yard, call us at (817) 800-8618 before booking — we can sometimes work with driveways, adjacent parking areas, or covered hard surfaces nearby.
How many people can race at the same time?
Up to three racers compete simultaneously — three cars on the circuit at once, one position open for the starting queue. You have four cars total: two adult cars and two kid karts. Running three cars while one is staged at the entry point keeps heats moving quickly and gives your adult supervisor easy control of the rotation.
What is the weight limit on the pedal cars?
The two adult pedal cars support riders up to 350 pounds each — they are built to handle competitive adult racing. The two kid pedal karts have a 100-pound weight limit and are sized for ages 3 to 8. Riders above the kid kart weight limit should use the adult cars, which accommodate ages 7 and up. Do not put oversized riders in the kid karts; the frame is not built for it.
Can the Indy Track be set up indoors?
Yes — at 8 feet tall, the Indy Track fits comfortably inside most school gymnasiums, church fellowship halls, recreation centers, and event venues with standard ceiling heights. The hard floor surface that most indoor venues provide is ideal for the pedal cars. Let us know at booking that your setup is indoors so our crew brings the correct anchoring equipment and plans delivery logistics for your specific venue access.
How many electrical outlets does the Indy Track need?
Three separate 110v outlets on three different 12-amp circuits within 100 feet of the setup location. Three blower motors keep the full 51-foot circuit inflated during the entire rental. This is more outlets than most inflatables require — if your venue has limited power access, ask about our generator rental options when you call.
