2-Player or Team Play — Scales to Any Group Size

The IPS Cones run as a 1v1 head-to-head game or as a team competition where multiple players share a color and take turns or collaborate on the sequence. Each Player or Team Gets a Light Color

Two opponents — or two teams — face off on the IPS court. Each side is assigned a color. The cones on your side of the court will light up in your color. Your opponent's side lights up in their color. You only hit your lights; your opponent only hits theirs. Both sides run simultaneously — there is no waiting for the other player to finish before you respond. Two sequences fire at the same time.

The Sequence Fires — Move Fast

The system fires your color lights in a sequence across the cones. Your job is to hit them in the order they fired — as fast as possible. The sequence may go cone 3, then cone 1, then cone 4. You run to 3, hit it, sprint to 1, hit it, move to 4, hit it. The system tracks every hit. Hit the wrong cone in sequence or miss a cone entirely and the system records the error. Speed matters, but accuracy matters too — a wrong hit does not count.

Score the Most Correct Hits Before Time Expires

Both players race simultaneously — your opponent is running their own sequence on the other side of the court at the same moment you are running yours. The clock counts down for both sides simultaneously. The player or team that correctly hits the most lights in the correct sequence before time expires wins. The scoreboard posts both scores the moment time is called. No referee. No judgment calls. The board decides.

The IPS Cones require a 15-foot by 13-foot setup area on a flat, level surface. Indoors or outdoors works equally well — these are freestanding game units, not inflatables, so there is no ceiling height requirement. A gymnasium half-court corner, a church fellowship hall, a school cafeteria, an outdoor patio, or a lawn all accommodate this footprint without issue. This is one of only two games in our catalog that sets up indoors without any ceiling restriction — the 9 Square Up is the other, but it requires a 9-foot ceiling. The IPS Cones have zero overhead constraint.

Electrical — One Standard Outlet

One 110v outlet on a 12-amp circuit within 100 feet of the setup location powers the entire IPS system. Indoor venues provide this at every outlet in the room. Outdoor events need a single standard outdoor outlet within extension cord range. No generator, no second circuit, no special electrical planning. The smallest power footprint of any interactive game we rent, paired with the smallest physical footprint.

Supervisor Role for the IPS Cones

One adult supervisor manages the IPS Cones — operating the game console between rounds, setting up the game mode, confirming participant readiness, and managing the queue for the next competitors.
