Both Competitors Harness Up

Each player attaches their waist harness to opposite ends of the same bungee cord. Both players start at the center of the 40-foot field, facing their respective end zones. The cord between them is relaxed at this starting position — neither player is pulling against resistance yet. The supervisor confirms both harnesses are secure before calling the start.

Pull Forward — Dodge Defenders

At the start signal, both competitors run toward their end zone, stretching the shared bungee cord between them. As each player moves forward, the cord tension increases — they are simultaneously pulling their own weight toward the end zone and pulling against the force of their opponent doing the same from the other direction. Players dodge inflatable defenders positioned across the gridiron surface while maintaining as much forward momentum as the cord allows.

Reach the End Zone

The player who generates enough forward force to reach their end zone first — overcoming both the bungee resistance and the pulling force of their opponent — wins the right to spike the ball. Space and Surface Requirements

The Tugga Touchdown is 16 feet wide by 40 feet long — a narrow, elongated footprint that fits easily in standard event spaces including church parking lots, school fields, park areas, and backyards with adequate length. The surface must be flat and level — grass, concrete, or asphalt all work. A 4-foot wide access path from the gate or street to the setup location is required for delivery. The 40-foot length is the primary constraint; verify you have 40 feet of clear flat outdoor run before booking.

IMPORTANT: 15-Amp Circuit Required

The Tugga Touchdown requires a 15-amp circuit — higher than the 12-amp requirement on most inflatables in our catalog. Running it on a 12-amp circuit will trip the breaker. Check your outdoor breaker panel before booking — the breaker will be labeled with its amp rating. Most standard residential outdoor outlets are 15 or 20 amps, but some older homes and some outdoor circuits are only 12 amps.
