Riders drop 22 feet down dual volcanic lanes, transition onto the slip n slide extension at full speed, carry that momentum flat across the wet surface, and finish in the pool at the far end. The race is not settled at the bottom of the tower -- it continues across the slip n slide and into the pool. Space and Surface Requirements

You need 59 feet of clear length and 15 feet of width on flat ground. This is a large unit -- the 59-foot footprint runs the full length of many standard DFW residential lots from gate to back fence. There must be no overhead obstructions within the 22-foot height zone along the full footprint. A 48-inch (4-foot) wide gate and a 4-foot clear path from the gate to the setup area are required. Grass is the preferred surface for pool and slip n slide management. Contact us before booking if your setup area is hard surface or if slope in the slide direction is a concern.

Electrical Requirements -- Two Circuits Required

The Volcano Rush requires 2 dedicated 20-amp circuits on 2 separate breakers -- each blower draws 12 amps and must run on its own circuit. Both outlets must be within 100 feet of the setup location. Running two blowers on the same circuit will trip the breaker and deflate the unit. If your setup location has only one accessible outdoor outlet, contact us before booking to discuss your electrical situation -- this is one of the most common setup questions we receive for larger units.

Water Hose Requirements

You must provide a standard garden hose long enough to reach from your water spigot to the slide setup location. Do not use expandable grow hoses -- they cannot maintain adequate water pressure across a 57-foot unit operating continuously for 8 hours. A traditional rubber or vinyl hose in the correct length is all that is needed. Have it connected and running before our crew finishes setup so water coverage across both lanes and the slip n slide surface can be confirmed before we leave.

Safety Features and Supervision

The Volcano Rush requires one adult supervisor managing both the staircase entry and the pool exit zone throughout the rental. The supervisor confirms the slip n slide extension and pool are clear before signaling each pair of riders to begin their climb.
