Description

The 24ft Free Fall Dual Lane Water Slide Rental in DFW Texas

The 24ft Free Fall is a giant inflatable water slide built for thrill seekers who want a straight-down vertical drop into a splashdown pool. Standing 24 feet tall with dual racing lanes, it is one of the most requested giant inflatable water slide rentals in DFW Texas. Two riders race side by side down completely vertical lanes, fly through the air, and land in the splashdown pool at the bottom. The Free Fall lives up to its name — this slide does not ease into the drop, it launches you. No slip n slide extension to slow the action down — just pure vertical drop and splashdown finish.

This giant water slide is best for ages 7 to adult. The vertical drop and high speed make it too intense for small children and exactly right for teens, adults, and anyone with a competitive streak. The Free Fall is a favorite for birthday parties, graduation parties, Fourth of July celebrations, and any summer event that needs serious thrill-ride energy. It is one of our top picks for adult water slide rentals in DFW because the two-story drop hits just as hard for grown-ups as it does for teens.

At 55 feet long, the Free Fall is the most compact 24-foot water slide in our fleet — meaningfully shorter than our other 24-foot units, which makes it fit yards that cannot accommodate the larger giants. The unit needs only one standard garden hose (most giant water slides need two), and runs on two separate 110v outlets on two different 20-amp circuits. Every inflatable water slide from Inflatable Party Magic is state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, built from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and cleaned between every rental. We deliver and set up the Free Fall across Midlothian, Waxahachie, Aledo, and 50+ cities throughout the DFW metroplex.

Why the 24ft Free Fall Is the Compact Giant of Our Water Slide Lineup

Most Compact 24-Foot Slide in Our Fleet

At 55 feet long with a 60-foot setup, the Free Fall is meaningfully shorter than our other 24-foot water slides (which run 78 feet long). Same 24-foot height and same vertical drop, but it fits backyards that cannot accommodate the larger giants.

Straight-Down Vertical Drop

The Free Fall does not ease into the slope — the lanes drop straight down from 24 feet. Riders experience a true free-fall sensation from the moment they push off. Two stories of pure speed and adrenaline before hitting the splash.

Pure Splashdown Pool Landing

Riders fly off the vertical drop and land directly in a splashdown pool. The pool ending cools you off instantly and creates the photo moment every guest wants. No slip n slide extension to slow the action down — just drop, splash, done.

Dual Racing Lanes Cut Wait Times in Half

Two side-by-side lanes let riders race each other to the splash. The two-lane design doubles the throughput at high-volume events like graduation parties and corporate picnics — guests spend less time in line and more time riding.

Only One Water Hose Needed

Unlike many giant dual-lane water slide rentals, the Free Fall only needs one standard garden hose to keep both sliding lanes wet. Simpler setup, fewer things to go wrong, and less dragging hoses across the backyard.

Center-Climb Design for Easy Monitoring

Riders climb up the middle and slide down the same side of the tower. Your adult supervisor watches the entire ride from one spot on the ground — no running around the unit to keep eyes on everyone.

How the 24ft Free Fall Water Slide Works

1

Climb Up the Middle

Two riders climb the center staircase to the 24-foot summit. You climb up the middle and slide down the same side of the tower — that keeps monitoring simple for your adult supervisor on the ground.

2

Pick Your Racing Lane

Each rider takes one of the two completely vertical dual lanes. This is a straight-down drop — not a gradual slope. The water flowing down the surface means almost zero friction once you launch.

3

Free Fall to the Pool

Push off and drop. The vertical lanes send you plummeting toward the splashdown pool at the bottom. This is a short, fast, intense ride — no slip n slide extension, just pure drop and splash.

4

Splashdown Finish

The ride ends in the pool landing. First rider to hit the water wins the race. Then climb back up and do it again — you have the slide for a full 8 hours.

Setup Requirements and How to Book the 24ft Free Fall

Space and Access Requirements

The Free Fall requires a setup area of 60 feet long by 24 feet wide by 24 feet tall on flat ground with no overhead obstructions like tree branches or power lines. The actual unit footprint is 55 feet long by 18 feet wide by 24 feet tall — the most compact 24-foot water slide in our fleet, fitting yards that cannot accommodate our 78-foot 24ft units. A 48-inch (4-foot) wide gate to the backyard and a clear path to the setup location are required so our delivery crew can carry the unit through.

Power and Water Requirements

The Free Fall requires two separate 110v outlets on two different 20-amp circuits within 100 feet of the setup location — each blower draws 12 amps and needs its own dedicated 20-amp breaker. Running both blowers off a single circuit will trip the breaker. You only need one standard garden hose to keep both lanes wet (most giant water slides need two). Use a traditional garden hose — expandable grow hoses do not provide enough pressure for a giant water slide this size.

How to Book Online in Minutes

Safety Features You Can Count On

Every inflatable in our fleet is state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, constructed from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and cleaned between every rental. We provide tarps at the entry and exit to minimize the muddy mess water activities bring along. Read about our inflatable water slide safety standards.

Best Events for the 24ft Free Fall Water Slide Rental

Graduation Parties

The Free Fall is one of our most-booked giant water slide rentals for high school and college graduation parties from May through June. Graduates crave speed, competition, and bragging rights — this slide delivers all three with a fast turnaround between rides.

Teen Birthday Parties

Standard bounce houses do not excite teenagers. A 24-foot straight-down drop with dual racing lanes does. Pair this with our teen birthday party ideas for an event they will post all over social media.

Fourth of July and Summer Parties

The towering Free Fall is the visual anchor for Fourth of July parties, Memorial Day cookouts, and Labor Day celebrations. Beat the Texas heat with one of the tallest water slides in the neighborhood — in a footprint that fits more backyards.

Backyard Birthday Parties

The Free Fall is the answer for families who want a 24-foot giant water slide but cannot fit our 78-foot units. The 60-foot setup footprint works in most standard suburban backyards across DFW.

Corporate Summer Events

Company picnics and employee appreciation days need entertainment that impresses adults. The Free Fall creates the wow factor that makes your corporate event the one employees talk about all year.

Church Summer Events

Churches use the Free Fall for summer kick-off events, youth group water days, and family fun days. The compact footprint and dual lanes work well at church grounds with limited setup space.

College Events and Greek Life

TCU organizations and campus event planners rent the Free Fall for college event entertainment that creates social media moments. The vertical drop is the photo opportunity every student wants.

School End-of-Year Celebrations

High schools rent the Free Fall for end-of-year reward days and senior celebration events. We handle vendor approval for schools and provide all required COI documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions About the 24ft Free Fall

How tall is the Free Fall water slide?

The Free Fall stands 24 feet tall with completely vertical dual racing lanes. The actual unit footprint is 55 feet long by 18 feet wide, and the setup area required is 60 feet long by 24 feet wide by 24 feet tall. This is the most compact 24-foot water slide in our fleet, fitting yards that cannot accommodate the larger 78-foot 24ft units.

What ages can ride the 24ft Free Fall?

Best for ages 7 to adult. The 24-foot vertical drop and high speed make it too intense for younger children. For kids under 7, we recommend pairing this slide with a smaller water slide or bounce house combo so every age group has appropriate entertainment.

Does the Free Fall have a slip n slide landing?

No. The Free Fall finishes directly in a splashdown pool with no slip n slide extension — riders fly off the vertical drop and land in the pool. This is the pure drop-and-splash format. If you prefer a slip n slide finish before the splashdown pool, look at our other 24ft dual-lane water slides which have both.

How is the 24ft Free Fall different from the Twin Turbo and Tropical Oasis?

All three are 24 feet tall with dual racing lanes. The Free Fall is more compact (55 feet long vs 78 feet long) and finishes directly in a splashdown pool with no slip n slide extension. The Twin Turbo and Tropical Oasis are 78 feet long with slip n slide extensions and splashdown pool finishes. The Free Fall also needs only 1 garden hose; the larger units need 2. Pick the Free Fall for tighter yards or pure drop-and-splash; pick the larger 24ft units for extended ride length.

How much power does the Free Fall need?

The Free Fall requires two separate 110v outlets on two different 20-amp circuits within 100 feet of the setup location. Each blower draws 12 amps and needs its own dedicated 20-amp breaker. Running both blowers off a single circuit will trip the breaker. If your venue has limited power, contact us before booking to discuss options.
