Most water slides are one activity: get on, go down, get off. The Tropical Water Obstacle Course is a complete competition — navigate obstacles, climb, race a water slide finish — with water running throughout the entire unit. Challenge and water happen simultaneously from start to finish.

Dual-Lane Racing — Every Run Has a Winner

Two competitors race side by side through every obstacle and down the water slide finish simultaneously. Every single run produces a winner and a loser — which means instant rematches, crowd reactions, and a sustained energy level that a single-lane activity simply cannot generate.

The Water Slide Finish Produces the Moment

The race doesn't end at the last obstacle. Both competitors must climb to the top and fly down the straight-down water slide to finish. Whoever leads through the obstacles doesn't necessarily win — the slide still has to be run. That uncertainty creates the moments spectators react to.

One Piece — No Assembly On Site

Unlike the 2-piece water slides in the fleet, the Tropical Water Obstacle Course is a single inflatable unit. Our crew carries it through the gate, positions it, and inflates it — no connection of separate components required. Simpler setup and faster to get racing.

Spectators Stay Engaged the Whole Time

With a single water slide, people watch one person go down and then disperse. With a dual-lane obstacle course, the competition holds the crowd throughout each race — spectators follow the action, react at the slide, and immediately want to race or watch the next heat.

Two Competitors Enter Together

Two racers step into their side-by-side lanes simultaneously. Water runs throughout the unit from the moment the race begins. Spectators watching from outside can track both competitors across the full course at once.

Race Through Every Obstacle

Both racers navigate the full series of obstacles simultaneously — crawling, climbing, pushing through — while water soaks them throughout. Speed and agility both matter. Leads can change all the way to the climb.

Climb and Fly Down the Slide

After the obstacles, both racers climb to the top and drop straight down the water slide finish. First down wins the race. The slide finish is the dramatic payoff that makes spectators react and racers want a rematch immediately.

Rematch and Keep Racing

Exit, walk back to the start, and go again. The loser wants a rematch. The winner wants to defend. Spectators want their turn. Eight hours of rental time gives everyone as many races as they want.

Space and Gate Requirements

You need 46 feet of length and 22 feet of width on flat, level ground with no overhead obstructions. The actual unit measures 40 feet long by 16 feet wide by 16 feet tall. The unit must pass through a gate at least 4.5 feet (54 inches) wide — most standard residential backyard gates are only 4 feet wide and will not fit. Measure your gate before booking. If the gate is too narrow, the unit can be placed in the front yard or any open-access area. For indoor events, a double gym door is required with 16 feet of ceiling clearance.

Electrical and Water Requirements

Two separate 110v outlets on two different breakers — 20 amps each — within 100 feet of the setup area. Each blower needs its own dedicated 20-amp circuit. One standard garden hose from your outdoor spigot keeps water running throughout the obstacle course. Do not use expandable grow hoses — they don't provide adequate pressure. We supply tarps at the entry and exit to minimize muddy conditions.

Safety and Inspection

The Tropical Water Obstacle Course is state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, built from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and sanitized between every rental.
