Description

The 15ft Double Jeopardy Dual-Lane Racing Water Slide in DFW Texas

The 15ft Double Jeopardy is the shortest dual-lane racing water slide in the Inflatable Party Magic fleet (tied with the 15ft Cyclone). Two riders race side by side down steep sliding lanes from 15 feet and land in a cushioned inflated splashdown pool at the base. The Double Jeopardy delivers the head-to-head competition of our taller dual-lane slides — the Typhoon at 19 feet, the Pipeline at 22 feet, and the Turbulence at 26 feet — at an approachable height that works for ages 7 to adult. Browse the full lineup of inflatable water slide rentals in DFW Texas to compare every dual-lane option we carry.

At 15 feet wide by 25 feet long actual size, the Double Jeopardy shares the smallest water slide footprint in our fleet with the Baja and Mermaid. Compact enough to fit backyards, school grounds, church lots, and community event spaces where the 19- and 22-foot dual-lanes will not go. One standard 110v outlet on a dedicated 20 amp circuit powers the entire unit — no second exterior circuit required. The cushioned splashdown pool has inflated soft sides for gentler landings, which makes the Double Jeopardy a strong fit for school field days, church VBS events, and mixed-age birthday parties.

The "Double Jeopardy" name earns its place every run — both riders launch from the top, neither lane has an advantage, and the race is anyone's game until somebody hits the pool first. Every water slide in our fleet is state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, constructed from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and cleaned between every rental. We deliver and set up the Double Jeopardy across Glen Rose, Haltom City, Willow Park, and 50+ cities throughout the DFW metroplex.

Why the Double Jeopardy Is the Most Accessible Dual-Lane Racing Slide in DFW

Shortest Dual-Lane in the Fleet

The Double Jeopardy and the Cyclone are tied as the shortest dual-lane racing slides we rent, both at 15 feet. Every other dual-lane option stands 18 feet or taller. That height difference matters for ages 7 to 12 who want the racing format but are not ready for the speed of an 18- to 26-foot drop.

Smallest Dual-Lane Footprint

At 15 feet wide by 25 feet long actual size, the Double Jeopardy has the smallest footprint of any dual-lane slide we carry. Fits backyards, school grounds, church lots, and community venues where the 19- to 26-foot dual-lanes will not. If your space is tight but you still want head-to-head racing, this is the slide.

Runs on a Single Standard Outlet

One 110v outlet on a dedicated 20 amp circuit powers the Double Jeopardy. That is one standard household outlet on its own breaker — no second exterior circuit, no extension cords across driveways, no electrical upgrades required. Works in almost any backyard setup.

Cushioned Splashdown Pool Landing

The Double Jeopardy lands in an inflated splashdown pool with cushioned soft sides for gentle landings. Riders splash down into real water at the base without the harder impact of a deep container pool. Safer landing finish for the 7-to-12 age range the slide serves best.

Real Racing — No Advantage Lane

Both lanes have the same pitch, same length, same sliding surface. Neither rider starts with an advantage, so every race is genuinely competitive. The name "Double Jeopardy" earns its place every run — speed is real, outcome is uncertain, and the loser always wants a rematch.

Theme-Neutral Visual Design

The Double Jeopardy's bold color scheme works at any event without locking into a single theme. Birthday parties, church youth events, school field days, HOA summer parties, and corporate picnics all fit the slide's versatile look — no themed decoration conflict.

How the Double Jeopardy Dual-Lane Water Slide Works

1

Two Riders Climb Together

Both racers climb the front-loading staircase to the 15-foot platform side by side. The climb is approachable for ages 7 and up. Your adult supervisor watches the ascent from a single spot on the ground.

2

Launch Side by Side

Both riders push off at the same moment down the matched sliding lanes. Neither lane has a speed advantage. Water rushes the whole descent and the race is real from launch to landing.

3

Splashdown in the Cushioned Pool

Both riders land in the cushioned splashdown pool at the base. The inflated soft sides keep riders safely inside the landing zone while the pool fills with water for a genuine splash finish on every run.

4

Rematch and Go Again

Step out of the pool, climb back up the front, race again. Dual-lane racing keeps guests engaged longer than single-lane slides — nobody gets bored, and you have the full 8 hours to settle every score.

Setup Requirements and How to Book the Double Jeopardy

Space and Access Requirements

You need 30 feet of length and 20 feet of width on flat ground with 15 feet of overhead clearance — no low-hanging tree branches or power lines above the setup area. The actual footprint is 15 feet wide by 25 feet long, which fits most standard backyards and school/church lots. A 48-inch (4-foot) wide gate to the backyard and a clear path to the setup location are required so our delivery crew can carry the unit through. The slide runs on one 110v outlet on a dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet of the setup location.

Water Hose Requirements

You must provide a traditional garden hose long enough to reach from your water spigot to the slide setup location. Do not use expandable grow hoses — they do not provide enough water pressure to keep both racing lanes properly wet. Inflatable Party Magic provides tarps for every water slide rental to reduce mud and water mess at the entry and exit areas.

How to Book Online

Click "Add to Cart" at the top of the product page. Enter your event date, delivery address, and setup location. Pay a $50 deposit to secure your reservation. You will receive an automatic email confirmation. Our crew handles delivery, setup, and pickup. Need help? Call (817) 800-8618 and our team will walk you through the process.

Safety Features and Standards

The Double Jeopardy includes cushioned inflated soft sides around the splashdown pool to keep riders safely inside the landing zone. All inflatables from Inflatable Party Magic are state-inspected annually by the Texas Department of Insurance, constructed from lead-free fire-retardant vinyl, and cleaned between every rental. Best Events for the Double Jeopardy Dual-Lane Water Slide

Kids Birthday Parties

Dual-lane racing turns a birthday party into a tournament bracket. Kids match up against each other for hours instead of waiting in line. The 15-foot height and cushioned pool landing keep the format approachable for ages 7 through 12.

School Field Days

Elementary and middle schools rent the Double Jeopardy for field day events because two lanes double the throughput for classroom-sized groups. The compact 15x25 footprint fits most school courtyards. We handle vendor approval for schools and provide all required COI documentation.

Church VBS and Summer Events

Churches rent the Double Jeopardy for VBS days, youth group water events, and summer family days. The single-outlet power requirement, compact footprint, and 7-and-up rating all fit the constraints of church lot setups.

Backyards Without a Second Outlet

Most residential backyards have one exterior outlet available. The Double Jeopardy is one of the few dual-lane slides that fits that power constraint — along with its 15ft Cyclone sibling and the 18ft Plummeting Lava.

HOA and Community Events

HOA summer events and neighborhood block parties book dual-lane slides because racing beats standing in line. The Double Jeopardy's approachable height and compact footprint work for community spaces that are not set up for 20-foot-plus giants.

Company Picnics and Corporate Events

Company picnics and team-building days book dual-lane slides for the friendly competition. The Double Jeopardy brings the racing format to corporate events at a size that fits outdoor office venues and company grounds.

Summer Camps and Day Camps

Day camps and summer programs rent the Double Jeopardy for water-themed weeks. Two lanes keep 50+ campers moving without bottlenecks, and the 7-and-up rating covers most camp-age groups.

Fourth of July and Summer Holidays

Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day celebrations pair well with dual-lane racing. Cousins, neighbors, and friends line up to race; the cushioned pool lets them splash down safely over and over.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Double Jeopardy Water Slide

How tall is the Double Jeopardy water slide?

The Double Jeopardy stands 15 feet tall with two side-by-side racing lanes. The actual footprint is 15 feet wide by 25 feet long. You need a setup area of 20 feet wide by 30 feet long with 15 feet of overhead clearance. No low-hanging tree branches or power lines above the setup area.

What ages can ride the Double Jeopardy?

Ages 7 to adult. The 15-foot height and cushioned pool landing are approachable for school-age kids while still giving teens and adults a real race. Kids ages 4 to 6 are better suited to our shorter kids water slides or bounce house combos. Adult supervision is required at all times.

What is the difference between the Double Jeopardy and the Cyclone?

Both are 15-foot dual-lane racing water slides in our fleet with similar footprints and specifications. They are sister products with different visual designs — pick the one whose color scheme fits your event best. If you want dual-lane racing at 15 feet and the Double Jeopardy is already booked, the Cyclone is the closest match we carry.

Does the Double Jeopardy have a pool at the bottom?

Yes. The Double Jeopardy lands in a cushioned inflated splashdown pool with soft inflated sides. Riders splash down into real water at the base, but the inflated sides make the finish gentler than a deep container pool. Close adult supervision is still required at all times.

How much power does the Double Jeopardy need?

The Double Jeopardy runs on one 110v outlet on a dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet of the setup location. That is a single standard household outlet on its own breaker, which works in almost any backyard, school lot, or church grounds without needing a second exterior circuit.
